FLOWER FESTIVAL

Aibonito's Flower Festival  is celebrated each year from the last weekend of June up to the first weekend of July.  The Festival brings together flower growers and artisans to the delight of thousands who flock to admire and buy their products each year. Located in 25 acres of land, it has 54 booths for the sale of plants and 10 for arts and crafts. Parking is free and the entrance is only $3.00  for adults and $2.00 for children.   The festival was first celebrated in June, 1969.  The first Board of Directors were Jorge Luis León (President), Rafael M. Díaz (Vice-President), Rafael Benítez (Treasurer), Sonia M. Torres (Secretary), Stanley Miller (Vocal), Enelia Comas (Vocal) and Ana Caraballo (Home Economist).
