Resistente a huracanes
STRUCTURAL The finished Concretek construction is a monolithic reinforced concrete structure compose of walls and slabs of uniform thickness and possessing great strength and stiffness. Concretek panels tied firmly to foundations forms a solid structure capable of resisting loads caused by earthquakes and strong winds from huracanes.
Aislamiento Térmico
THERMAL Concretek panels and its thermal insulation properties allow to save energy maintaining interiors cooler than other conventional materials, reducing mechanical equipment. In its standard thickness, a 2” core whith 1” of concrete yields an R-8.5 rating. A 4” core of EPS coverd by 2” of concrete results in a R-18 rating.
FIRE RESISTANCE It has been proved that Concretek System with concrete cladding prevents fire spreading for more than an hour and a half, depending in the concrete applied. With 1” of concrete applied to both sides, each panel achieves a fire rating of 1 hour. A 2” application offers a 2 hour rating; 3” of concrete gives you a 4 hour rating.
Aislamiento Acústico
CONCRETEK: an acoustic barrier. The hardness of concrete combined with the great capacity for noise absorption in Concretek polystyrene foam acts as an acoustic barrier in order to avoid noise inside and outside the edifice.
